Friday Photo Flashback # 19

This was me taken 10 years ago.
I was the overhead projector girl during worship services. That was my main ministry involvement, aside from being part of the youth staff then. I remember attending the music ministry practices so I can arrange the acetates that will be used for the worship services. It was fun and a service that I really liked doing since I never liked to be on center stage.

Thank you Lord for another week of your faithfulness!

This week I am thankful for...

My hubby who is thinking and praying about going full time as a pastor.

My little girl who joined the presentation at school.

The first sunset we witnessed as a family this Monday.

How about you? What are you thankful for today?

Baby Safety

When we moved to our house 4 years ago, I wanted to install baby gates. I wanted to make sure that my kiddos would not go up and down the stairs unsupervised. Staircases are accident prone areas. I remember my younger brother who fell down the staircase at around age 3. Now that I have a 2 year old boy who knows how to go up and down the staircase by himself, there are days that I still want to purchase extra wide baby gates so I can contain him in an area while I am doing chores.

KidSafe offers different quality baby gates. I have checked out the different gates they offer and there is a wide variety to choose from. Its really great that we can now shop online!

Decisions... decisions...

Do you agree with me when I say it is harder when you are still thinking or deciding about something? Like when you are contemplating whether you should push through with something than when you have finally made your decision and you are awaiting the results of your decision?

I am still praying and thinking about homeschooling my kids next year. For some time now, homeschooling has captured my attention. For whatever reason, there is a desire in my heart to homeschool my kids. I have been researching about homeschool, both foreign and local so that I can be better informed and to see if this is where we are really headed to. I am also looking around for support groups in our area.

Decisions.. decisions...

TCP - Sandra Bullock Film

I am not really a fan of Sandra Bullock but I must admit that I have watched a number of her films since she was one of the famous female artists of the 90s. I liked her in Speed, Miss Congeniality but I would like to feature While You Were Sleeping today... I loved this movie...

Sandra Bullock plays Lucy Eleanor Moderatz, a lonely fare collector on the Chicago elevated railway. The highlight of her days is selling a token to a handsome commuter, Peter Callaghan (played by Peter Gallagher), on whom she has a secret crush. Working on Christmas, Lucy witnesses Peter being mugged and pushed onto the tracks, and she rescues him from an oncoming train. Peter falls into a coma and she accompanies him to the hospital, where she fantasizes aloud, "I was going to marry him". A nurse overhears her and, misinterpreting the situation, tells the head physician, a policeman and Callaghan's family that Lucy is his fiancée. At first Lucy is too caught up in the madness of everyone's panic to tell the truth, and after that she is too embarrassed to. Lucy then meets Peter's younger brother Jack (Bill Pullman), who has taken over his father's business and is always working. Jack is very suspicious at first, saying Peter never mentioned Lucy or a marriage, which is not like him. Later on, after spending some time together to get acquainted, Jack starts to realize that he himself has feelings for Lucy. (information from Wikipedia)
