His Grace Is Sufficient

Sometimes, circumstances in our life can get to us. Actually, my mind is in chaos right now. With school starting this week, I have yet to make lesson plans for my preschooler. It will be my first year to homeschool a preschooler since my older daughter started homeschooling in Grade 1. I feel disorganized and don't know where to start. Like, what task should I do first. There are just too many things on my mind.

Then God reminds me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Cor 12.9-10)"

Now that I feel weak and disorganized, I know all I need to do is to pray and ask God to guide me in all I need to do and He will see me through. For His grace is sufficient for me!

I am joining Moving Words Monday today! Moving Words Monday is a meme where you can share inspiring stories, inspiring words taken from the Bible, inspirational proverbs and quotes. It is a meme that helps us get a dose of inspiration to start our week right.

Let us keep the commands of God for us so that we, and our children and our children's children may fear the Lord.

Our Home Loan

When we first got married, we lived in a rented apartment in the metro. But as soon as we got pregnant, I really wanted to move to our own place. With a limited budget at that time, I was really thankful to God that He showed us this house which is the right size for our family and with a price that was just right. We were quite happy that we were able to get a home loan like that of the VA Home Loan and we have been paying the bank with a varied interest for the past 6 years.

Every year, the bank's interest would change and if we ever get any money, we try to pay up the principal amount so that our loan would lessen. Streamline Refinance of a loan is something that you should try so that you can lessen the remaining number of months you need to pay or the amount you pay each month.

We still have 2 more years to pay off our home loan, but I am really thankful and grateful that God provides ways for us to pay off our loan every month. Whenever we have any financial problem at hand, I just look back at where we started and where God has brought us now, and I know that He is the same God who will take care of our needs and our future!

Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful today that my daughter's first ever ballet recital went well! She doesn't like performing on stage but I was so happy that she trained hard and performed on the stage without any tears or fear at all. She actually enjoyed performing their ballet dances.

Thank you Lord for opening opportunities for us to see another side of our daughter! :)

Gifts for Grandparents

I didn't come from an affectionate family. We grew up not having close relationships with our parents. Well, I always longed for a close relationship with my parents but we were raised the traditional way. But thankfully, God changed my heart and even if I didn't get the relationship I longed for, God allowed me to see my parents from a different light. Most of the time, we don't get to spend time with them, especially my dad, because he was always busy with our business and when he was home, he was already tired from work.

Now that I have my own kids, I want my kids to see him as someone they can approach and talk to, unlike what I experienced when I was younger. So whenever there are opportunities, we try to go to Manila to spend some time with them and allow the kids to make some memories with them. I also encourage my kids to make crafts and special gifts for their grandparents who they don't see often. When we have extra cash, and when we see nice gifts, we buy some for them. To let them know that we are thinking of them. I think we should buy those funny coffee mugs so whenever they drink their coffee or tea, they would remember their grandchildren, and hopefully, it would brighten their day.

Gifts for grandparents are my way of showing my parents that I still think of them and love them even if I don't live in their house anymore.

Booksneeze

I review for BookSneeze®

I love reading but when I had my 2 kids, my reading time has been lessened. But this year, reading is definitely included in my goals. Reading the entire Bible is my number priority and along with this, I have started to read books regularly too. Aside from reading homeschool curriculum reviews, I have started reading books already. I am quite excited that Booksneeze enables me to read books and create reviews for them.

The first book I requested from Booksneeze has already arrived, so watch out for the first book review in a few days!

Men Scrub Clothing

With the recent influx of nursing and medical courses, it is no doubt that nurse uniforms and supplies are more commonly sold and are readily available in the markets and even in online shops. What used to be a fashion-less uniform has now become a fashionable uniform to wear.

There are now many choices and different colors available. Colors can range from the more fashionable colors like pink, orange or teal green. Of course, the more conservative colors like white, black and blue are still available. One can choose from a simple scrub to one that has pockets or one that has a matching scrub bottoms or hat. There are also different styles available. The uniforms are also made from soft and wrinkle free materials.

Even the men in the medical field can now choose to be fashionable in their uniforms. A visit with http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Men/ can give you some idea about the different medical uniforms available for men.
