Proverbs 31:29

(image taken from heartlight)

Women are expected to take on different roles. Women can easily adapt to the role which is required of her. But sometimes, we have to evaluate our lives if we are living it according to what the Bible has stated... Proverbs 31 reminds me today what I should really be doing...

I don't want to do what is expected by society... what I want is to do is what God wants me to do!
When I leave this place, I want to be remembered as one who lived her life in service to God. So in everything I do now, whether it is to support my husband or to nurture the kids or teach them at home... I do it all for the Lord.

It is never easy. This is why I need the Holy Spirit to fulfill God's plan for my life... and live it daily!

ohhhhh, it's a wonderful image and verse. It's not always easy, sometimes lonely...but it IS a calling...being a mom is a blessing, an exhausting blessing but one we've been chosen for...

Thanks for sharing today! This was a wonderful way to start my day!
peace,
