I actually created a very simple logo for this new feature section. I am not very good with logo design ideas so I hope that this logo that I created is nice enough! :) Mommy Talks will start this Thursday and will be a monthly feature. Hope to see you there!

Introducing Mommy Talks
I will be launching a new section under my parenting blog The Mommy Journey. It will be called Mommy Talks. Mommy Talks is my new monthly feature of the different moms around us. Hopefully, we will be able to feature different celebrity moms, single moms, moms with special kids, moms with businesses, moms with multiple kids, working moms, work-at-home moms, homeschooling moms, young moms and many others. I want to feature these moms because I know that we can all find inspiration together from other moms! We can also learn from their unique experiences. Hopefully, we can also encourage one another. Being a mom is no easy job and there is no short cut in becoming a good mom. We may be in unique situations but we all have a mom's heart. My prayer is that may God use this as an avenue where moms will be encouraged and inspired to become the moms that God has intended them to be.

"We Know You Are The True God..."
Those were the opening words of my daughter as she prayed after our daily devotion and quiet time today. I was surprised that those words came out from her... it just shows that my daughter is growing up and really understands what we talk about every day... I am so blessed and inspired!
May she continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Another Milestone!
I can’t believe it! My 2 year old can now sing the alphabet song! I heard him sing it on his own this afternoon when I asked him to sing the alphabet song. Though there are still some unclear letters, he was able to sing the majority of the song! It was a waste that I wasn’t able to capture it on video though.
Where has the time gone? I still remember buying nursery furniture, activity sets and infant clothing for him. Now, he is more interested in toys and books. He also loves to choose his own clothes now. He wants to pick his own shirts from the cabinet. Sometimes, he also chooses clothes for his sister too! He certainly has grown! I think it is time to share or keep most of the baby and toddler products lying in their room.
These are the bittersweet moments of a mother’s journey.

Details About Kids
When the kids are still small, its always fun to dress them up! Designer baby clothes like appaman and barefoot dreams pajamas are very suitable for toddlers and kids. I like their cool style!
I also love it when toddlers get attached to a certain toy for their security. It looks so cute! When my eldest was still a toddler, she used to carry a bear wherever she goes. Naturally, she has outgrown that phase already. Now, my little boy who is a toddler, loves jellycat stuffed toys! He treats them as his pets. But he has a shorter attention span. In a few minutes, he would be switching toys. He would play with haba toys. He needs toys which are durable since he would throw his toys while playing them.
Details like these are appreciated by moms like me, who stay at home and want to watch my kids grow up. This is one of the reasons why I chose to be a SAHM so that I can know the tinyest details about my kids as they grow up.
