Easter Thoughts
Today is Easter. Why is Easter a very important day? Well, for me, it just proves that everything Jesus said in the Bible is true. He is God and He overcame death. All His promises shall come to pass. I can surrender my all to Him and know that He will never fail me.

WFW - 1 Samuel 12:15
Obedience is something that is very important to the Lord. In all of our life, obedience is a lesson which we must learn. If we want God to be with us all the days of our lives, we should always seek Him and obey Him, in all of our ways.

You Are Inspirational, Gandang Kalikasan Inc.
I have a guest writer today, Cym. She is the lady behind ceemee's cazzapoeia! I asked her to write today's You Are Inspirational because she has first hand experience with our featured inspirational company, Gandang Kalikasan Inc.
Who would have thought that organic products that were accessible just to the wealthy could be available in the Philippines at a very reasonable price? Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. made that possible through its Human Nature brand of products. A social enterprise started by Anna Meloto-Wilk, her husband Dylan Wilk and her sister Camille Meloto, they believe that natural products, which are beneficial for the environment and their users, should be available to everyone, even if that means cutting down their own profits because of the steep prices of the ingredients. They also had to find ways to make the production ethical since they absolutely do not use harmful chemicals and they do not test on animals.
Another inspiring thing with Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. is that they are guided by principles of being Pro-Philippines, Pro-Poor and Pro-Environment. Pro-Philippines in that all the raw materials used are sourced locally, thus Filipino farmers do not lose their jobs. They could now send their children to decent schools because their produce was bought by Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. at higher prices. They were also provided with extractors and other farming needs from the profits to make globally competitive organic raw materials. This is also in accordance to the company’s being Pro-Poor. They employ workers from Gawad Kalinga so they could be given a good livelihood. These workers’ wages are even above minimum and they are provided with many benefits and overtime pay. The only time they have the need to import is when there were no ingredients available locally, but if these could be grown, they will find ways to do it. They believe that Philippines is a trove of natural resources that could be harnessed to produce world-class products. Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. is Pro-Environment in that the means to manufacture a certain product is carefully deliberated so that the environment will not be harmed.
To sum it up, according to their website www.humanheartnature.com, “Human Nature is about loving the Philippines, loving the environment and loving our families as we provide only the safest and purest world-class ingredients for them. These are effective AND affordable organic and natural personal care products that feel as good on your skin as they do in your heart. We hope that you will find a sense of peace and purpose knowing that your everyday choices have a positive impact on the poor, our country and our planet.”
This is the reason why I signed up to become a Human Nature dealer. Knowing that Gandang Kalikasan, Inc. sets out to be an example of a corporation with a heart is inspiring for me. The products that I tried worked wonders, too. I especially love the Peppermint-scented Strengthening Shampoo, which reduced my hair fall at the same time eliminating my dandruff. I also use the super gentle Feminine Wash. For my children, I smooth the Citronella Bug Spray onto their skin. It’s effective and safe because it’s DEET-free. DEET is a harmful chemical found in commercial bug sprays. I want my family and friends to have the benefit of using natural products that are not only good for the environment, but good for their bodies as well.

WFW - 1 Samuel 3:19
This is a great verse that parents can pray for their kids.
I always pray that may the Lord be with them as they grow up and may they never let any of His words fall to the ground.
I always pray that may the Lord be with them as they grow up and may they never let any of His words fall to the ground.

House Renovations
Before we moved to this house 6 years ago, we had the house renovated a little. Well, not really the whole house, only the flooring and the tiles in both bathrooms and and the kitchen. We had limited cash at that time. After 6 years of living here, we haven't done any repainting or renovations yet. But I hope that in the next 2 years, we would be able to do some renovations. We definitely need to save up!
We would want to have the house repainted inside and outside. Install hardwood floor would be something we might consider but I think it would be better if we can extend our house. This would allow us to have a bigger kitchen and bigger room downstairs. Probably we can also use the garden space we have at the sides of the house. Since this space is hardly used, maybe we can extend the sides of our house to make it more spacious. I hope that there will be a segregated laundry area at the back or at the sides. The rooms upstairs would also be extended and the cabinets would be added. My husband mentioned that he wanted the roof raised and I would agree with him. This would make the rooms more spacious too.

We don't really want to move to a bigger house but we think that renovating our current one would make it nicer and more spacious! This is definitely something we hope to achieve together before our kids grow up to be teenagers!

My Internet Flashback
Ever since I started to use the internet in 1995, I have already been using it for research work. I was still in college back then and there were tons of research work that needs to be done. I wasn't even aware if ppc agency and other internet marketing were established back then. What I remember was that my home page was set to open on my favorite search engine and I always logged in to a BBS forum which were still DOS based. I chatted with online friends until midnight. I also remember logging into mIRC and other chat rooms daily. Then came along Yahoo Messenger, it was a Windows based chat application and later on, Friendster came. I remember that it was so much fun connecting with old friends and new friends. Checking out photos and being reunited with long lost classmates and friends. Of course, we all know how Facebook followed and then I became interested in blogging. And then, Twitter.
Well, my life is no longer the same without internet connection. If you ask me to choose between cable connection and internet connection, I would definitely choose internet connection. Actually, we don't have cable connection here at home since we moved here but we have internet connection for more than 2 years now.
