Ecclesiastes 3:1

(image from Amydeanne)

Since we decided not to hire a stay in helper anymore, I have been juggling my schedule daily. I wanted to do my house hold chores but still be able to spend time with my kids intentionally. I want to continue our informal homeschooling and to spend time with them -- laughing, playing, enjoying them not just making them do the things they are supposed to be doing. I have learned that I CAN NOT do everything in one day. So I decided to divide the house hold chores according to its importance and assign chores per day.

There is a time for everything. I want to prioritize having time with my kids rather than being able to do all the chores everyday. The kids grow up so fast... if I don't set my priorities straight, even if I am a Stay At Home Mom, I might miss them...

Am I making any sense?

Happy WFW!

Korek ka dyan Chris.. Ako ganyan din eh, ang hirap kahit sinasabing nasa house ka lang madami pa ring responsibilities.

You're definitely making sense. Personally, I'm having a hard time managing my time, too, now that I don't have a stay-in helper, too. What makes it difficult is that I have a full-time work, so my time gets divided between being a mommy, being an online worker, and being a household manager. I always feel pangs of guilt whenever I try to finish all the chores in the house when I should have spent them bonding with my son, but who will do all the dirty work?

I love that verse. I'm struggling with trying to get too much done right now too. It's so hard to figure out how to spend our time when there are so many demands on it!
Good luck & God bless!

This is a good reminder mommy. Everyday, there are so many things to do. That sometimes we forget the most important thing, our communion with our Maker. This is also my struggle being a work from home mom.
