WFW - Leviticus 10:3

While reading Leviticus, you would be amazed by how much preparation the priests had to do so that they would be able to do their duties... this just goes to show how holy God is and how we, as humans, can never comprehend fully His awesomeness, His holiness... because we are frail and unholy since the beginning.

Thank you Jesus. I can now come before God because of Jesus.

Thanks for sharing this, Chris. I love how God throws in Aaron's reaction: her remained silent. Sometimes that's the best response to His holiness--silent appreciation! You have a lovely site. I'm visiting with Word-filled Wednesday from Doorkeeper at http://reneeannsmith.com/. Blessings!

Isn't it something that we can never be enough or do enough to be worthy. Thank God that Jesus came, bled, died and rose because now we have access to Him. When He looks at us He doesn't see filthy rags but He sees the blood of the Lamb. Thanks for the reminder of what Christ did for us. Be blessed.

Chris! This is just beautiful and oh so true. The preparations were extensive and we can come...just come...because of Jesus...what an incredible gift that we often take for granted.

peace and thank you for this!

We are looking at 1 Peter in church at the moment. Be ye holy as I am Holy.
We cannot go it without the grace of God and then we shall only approximate that perfect holiness of God.
