I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the decisions I need to make and the things I have to do, but this promise does bring me comfort and encouragement. I am glad that He gave us this promise!

What a glorious invitation
Indeed, Chris, he has done everything for us and has given us everything, including his shoulder to lean on whenever we're weary. His Words are our assurance that whatever He has promised, He shall surely bring it to pass. God bless.

how wonderful that we are givin this invitation
I think a lot of people use verses like this but never really understand that God's promises are only for His children. It makes me sad that they are wanting God's blessings but not His Salvation.
If we are His there is nothing He hasn't provided. Like the hymn..."all I have needed, His hand has provided...Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord UNTO ME!"
