The theme for today is urban legends... I would like to feature Friday The 13th.
The movie mainly focuses on the fictional character of Jason Voorhees, who drowned at Camp Crystal Lake as a boy due to the negligence of the camp staff. Decades later, the lake is rumored to be "cursed" and is the setting for a series of mass murders. Jason is featured in all of the films, either as the killer or the motivation for the killings.Whenever Friday falls on the 13th. it cant be helped but people think that the day brings bad luck. Maybe this movie franchise has really influenced the minds of the people.

Ugh..those movies still scare me! That's why I refuse to let my kids watch any horror flicks. Those images stay w/ you tooooo long!

Friday (falling on )the 13th is an urban legend in itself. Media shape our beliefs with so much convincing force that we usually are unaware of. Nice pick.
friday the 13th is indeed one gory, slasher film. and legend has it that a friday falling on the 13th is badluck. remember ko pa, sabi nila, di raw maganda maligo pag friday the 13th. and dapat, you should do NOTHING! meron pa nga pinoy movies based on this superstition. kaloka, di ba, ate?
